We are open from 23. April to 31. October – Thursday to Sunday from 14 to 19 o’clock

The Moschendorf open-air museum is located at the entrance to the idyllic Pinkataler Weinstraße.

Here you can see historic buildings restored from this region.

The individual buildings of the museum were collected from the surrounding villages and reconstructed on the spot in exactly the same way.

They date from the 17th, 18th and 19th century. In them, authentic furniture, agricultural tools and tools of past centuries can be visited.

A number of above-ground wine cellars, house wine presses, distillery equipment, as well as numerous appliances required for wine cultivating and cellar management.

In the back of the open-air museum there is a large hall „Veranstaltungshalle“ which serves as a meeting place for various activities:
Folk music and folk dancing events, exhibitions of artists, lectures, photo exhibitions and wine tasting. The hall can also be rent for private events – such as banquets or wedding ceremonies.

In the two „Vinotheken“ (wine shops) of the museum a comprehensive cross-section of the wines of South Burgenland is offered for tasting and for sale. Here you will find the unique Uhudlervinothek as well as and the regional wine shop of Südburgenland.

Discover the origninal old wine cellars barns, a unique culture and folklore art by booking a guided tour.
